On day two of what was supposed to be a three day weekend we went to the coast (good thing we didn't put it off a day!). Our friends had gone on Saturday and went to Yaquina Head, so they gave us their pass (good for 3 days) and we went as well. We got there at just the right time, it was low tide, so we headed down to the tide pools.
We headed out to Nye Beach for a bit, but it got to windy for Eison to stay long. Luke and I did manage to run in the ocean for a bit and we all flew the kite a little.
Then for dinner we ate at Local Ocean. Next time you are in Newport, eat there, they do source locally after all! Make sure you call in a reservation and umm, have a small party (4 at the most) it isn't very large!
