Eison is almost 1 (well he was when I started this!) and he has a few sounds that we recognize. Mama & Dada of course, & Mama actually means me! His first word is not "mama" however, the first word he really said with meaning behind it as far as we can tell is Gigi. One of our cats is named Gigi, therefore he calls all cats Gigi. He also "meows" at them, and it sounds pretty good! He also says "yeah" a lot which comes out sounding more like "jeah"...lets just hope this is baby talk and not a warning that we have a "bro" on our hands ;) He also enjoys yelling quite a lot, and "singing" along to music. He also says "bug" (we call him that and "bugga" and "bugga booboo" quite a bit). He can also cluck his tongue, it is cute!
Wow, I started this (above) before he turned 1 and edited it after....now that he is 13 months old I guess I will finish! He now says "daddy" quite a bit. Especially when Nathan comes home from work! He loves music and dancing and clapping along. Patty cake is his favorite and he is super cute hen he claps along. He likes to spin himself in circles until he falls over and loves to climb everything! He is obsessed with anything with wheels, and he now has his own shopping cart which he loves! He also has his own LEGO set as well, it is a police transport with a bad guy a cop and a little motorcycle. He loves to eat. Currently he seems to think scrambled eggs are the only thing he can have for breakfast. We get our eggs through Big River, who get them from a lady in Corvallis; they are far superior to store bought! He also is still doing great at nursing, so that is good :)
At his first year check up he was measured (of course), I don't have the measurements in front of me, but they were something like:
Height: 32" 98%tile
Weight: 23 lbs 73rd%tile
Head Circumference: 19.25" 98%tile
